Inclusion at the CUB
The Compton Union Building is committed to providing a safe, equitable, inclusive environment for the entire campus community. The CUB’s public areas and meeting room spaces have designated ADA seating and access, assisted listening devices in select spaces, and can be modified to meet the needs of many. Event spaces and rooms with flexible furniture are customizable to meet the accessibility needs of your program. Events held at the Compton Union Building are encouraged to use up-to-date best practices for inclusion, accessibility, and to support accommodations necessary for all to fully engage.
The CUB offers gender-inclusive restrooms on the lower level, ground, first, and second floors. These single-occupancy restrooms may be utilized by any individual.
The CUB will not tolerate behaviors that are intimidating, harassing, or discriminatory. WSU does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, genetic information, and/or protected veteran status in its programs and activities.
